We are a full-service garden center with everything you need for your garden, including soils, mulch, fertilizers, dusts, sprays, and the staff to help you find what you need. In addition, we offer bird supplies for songbirds and hummingbirds, houseplant and tropical plant supplies, garden flags and mats, decorative yard art and iron accessories, concrete statues and fountains, a selection of terracotta/glazed/plastic pottery, and much more!

You’ll also find locally-made jams, jellies, spice blends, teas, mixes, and honey in our shop, as well as shirts, hats, bandanas, stickers, and pins for nature lovers. Gift certificates are available for purchase for the gardener, plant enthusiast, or art lover in your life.

Year round, we have two beds full of trees and shrubs that are hardy for this area, a large selection of native perennials, as well as the classics to add to your yard and garden.

Early spring, we’ve got cool-weather starts, pansies, violas, and hardy perennials to get you excited about planting. If you want to start from scratch, we can provide you with seeds, seedling soil mix, and all the other supplies you need to get your garden growing and thriving.

Starting in May, we are full to the brim with warm-weather annuals and hanging baskets, over 30 varieties each of tomatoes and peppers, and all the other vegetables for your homestead or patio garden.

In the fall, we’ve got all the mums you could want for color all through autumn, more cool-weather vegetable starts, pumpkins for carving or decoration, and winter pansies that’ll give you blooms til the spring.

For the winter holidays, we have poinsettias, Christmas cactus, cyclamen, and amaryllis in the greenhouse. We carry live wreaths and garlands made locally for the inside and outside of your home, hand-tied bows, and other seasonal decor.

Open throughout the year, we have an art gallery full of pieces from world-renowned and emerging artists that make the perfect addition to your home or an amazing gift for special occasions. Check out the Toadshade Gallery tab for more information!

We offer a selection of tropical houseplants for everyone, from beginners to rare houseplant collectors, available year-round in our on-site greenhouse.

Need help with a plant problem? We’re here to help! We have a small but mighty staff that will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We can diagnose a pest problem and offer solutions, re-pot a houseplant you’re too nervous to do yourself, or help you choose a perennial for that difficult spot in your yard.

Dependent on availability and the time of year, we do offer annual pot plantings and on-site consultations for planting recommendations. Because of our small staff, we are not able to provide landscaping services, but we are happy to direct you to the local crews that we trust!

We also offer short-term plant rentals. Since this is a newer addition to the services we offer, it is on a case-by-case basis—please feel free to call us to find out more information.
